50 hp Evinrude ignition wiring.

So recently I bought a boat and the ignition was bad. The person I bought it from changed it out beforehand but it was wired incorrectly and the switch had to be held in the on position to for it to stay running. The ignition has

The wires I have for the ignition are
Yellow/black
Black
Purple
Purple/white
Red/purple
Yellow/red

I’ve tried wiring it multiple ways and can’t get it to work. It will start to turn but won’t push the starter up to start. I have already jumped the starter and checked starter solenoid and it’s getting correct voltage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
If you apply 12 volts to the wrong terminal it could be expensive.----Get a manual or get help from your local boat shop.-----Wiring is too easy to mess up.----I remember instructing a new owner with " the RED goes to the + post ".----And 5 seconds later the noise and smoke started.-----He hooked it up wrong!
