5.0L Mercruiser Belt Question

My boat is a 2001 and I have twin 5.0L 305 EFI Mercruisers. Port Eng S/N: 0M013305 My power steering pump died on me, however, my boat only uses the starboard side pump for actual power steering. I'm wondering if there is a smaller belt out there that I could install and simply bypass my power steering pump on the port engine??​

Not that I know of in any listing. Might be able to add another idler or fixed pully to it. You would have to reconfigure it to your needs and get a inch measurement and convert to mm

looking thru the service manual, I'd suspect you can just change the idler pulley and use a shorter belt after removing the PS pump.....

agreed...but I'd bet its a lot more clams than switching to the non-PS configuration....
