5.0 hi swap

Hey guys! I have a 99 glastron with the gm 305. It has a cracked block. What engine or block can I replace it with? Thanks!!!

Yes if you strip it to the long block , swap in marine head gaskets, brass core plugs, and a marine water pump. Then use all your marine accessories off the old motor. Marine cam cam came out of old motor or use the truck cam, just dont use a car cam

If you have a carbed engine would definitely step up to a 5.7

Since it froze (assuming) you should verify the exhaust manifolds, elbows and intake manifold are not cracked too

Thanks for help. My exhaust manifolds are cracked as well. Could i ise the TBI set up on a 5.7?

Do you mean a marine 5.0 TBI on a 5.7 or a truck TBI? Do not use anything electrical or fuel related from automotive or truck application. Marine rated componenets are required for fuel and electrical systems.

Thanks. I plan on using all the equipment from the boat. Just changing the block
