440 timing mark

A Husky man! I nearly bought a 250 WR years ago. Ended up with a PE250 (the good one with the 6 speed). Rode it for years.

Not anymore. The new olds are virtually all 4 strokes.

The M440 Chrysler marine manual says timing is 7 1/2 BTC. (idle of 500 r.p.m.)(Chrysler 300)

It also gives Advance (Centrifugal) Automatic (Distributor degrees at distributor R.P.M.) (all models)
