Have a 1976 440 reverse rotati

Have a 1976 440 reverse rotation that continually burns pistons. Has anyone else experienced this?

"If the carb is providing enough fuel?, the timing is in left field. Not the initial timing but the advance is way wrong or there is a serious distributor problem"

Or you're not getting enou

Or you're not getting enough fuel at high throttle settings. You can check that with a fuel gage at the carb. Pressure should not drop below 4 psig.
