4.3L Mercruiser

I just recently purchased a 1986 Sea Ray Seville Cuddy Cabin, with a 4.3L engine. The previous owner said the engine has not been started in four years, but it looks new. He did say it is still winterized, and he put fuel treatment in the tank each year. I'm thinking, at a minimum, I'll need to drain the fuel tank (to be on the safe side);change the engine and outdrive oils, and new spark plugs/wires/distributor cap. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Also, I was thinking about adding the fresh water cooling system, but they're so expensive...Any alternatives?

I agree with changing out the fuel, engine oil and filter, and outdrive oil - Before you start it.

After 4 years, I wouldn't expect the fuel to be any good and it will only lead to more time, evacuating the system, besides not knowing the condition of the oils.
