"Got a 350 mag and having some

"Got a 350 mag and having some starting issues. The boat just will not start without giving it some throttle in neutral. After some investigation i have found a shafted power steering pump and evidence of water in the oil. The dip stick and filler cap are both very milky.

Monday the boat is coming out of the water and I'm going to start stripping it down. I suspect the head gaskets, any other places i should look ?

Water in the PS pump has nothing to do w/the engine. There is a PS oil cooler that is in the water inlet hose path. The cooler is leaking.
 
My mistake; water in the engin

My mistake; water in the engine oil? If there is water in a few of the cylinders on one side then start by checking the exhaust components for leakage. Water on both sides then check the shutters first.
