First time using forum so please forgive me
I have a 30HP johnson outboard model J30RERM, it has sat for a couple years are more, got it on the boat headed down to the boat ramp and 25-30 pulls later it fired up and seem to run decent wide open but every time i killed the engine or it dyed on its own same thing 20+ pulls to get it started i got new fuel and new line going into it and then changed the plugs thinking that would help, back to the water and still 20+ pulls to get it started then eventually wouldn't start at all (even tried some ether) so then i pulled the carb and cleaned it and still wont start i asked a couple people and they gave me some ideas but i thought id come here for some more advice so any ideas on what i need to do or needs to be replaced id appreciate im working on a tight budget but like to get this up and running so like to know what im getting into before i start pouring money into this
so again any help ideas i could get i truly appreciate it or if more info is needed let me know
