I am replacing the water pump with a Yamaha kit on my 25mshc 2 stroke. The kit only includes the cup and not the entire housing. My question is, how is the old cup removed? Seems glued in tight. Is there something in the housing that lines the cup up correctly once I get it installed in the housing? I hope I can break the old one loose or I will need to go shopping at the marine dealer again. Thank you.
