25 HP Mercury serial number for parts ordering.

I've got a 25HP Mercury EH model with serial number 06305652 and am planning to order a carbuerator repair kit and and a water pump repair kit but am unsure of what part #'s to order. I'm primarily confused over the SN# as the charts indicate this would be a circa 1980's motor but the plate on the motor is with the SN and model number info is stamped with 1996. Any and all help is appreciated with this. I don't want to order the wrong kit if I can help it.

Is it 06 or 0G ???

I’ve looked several times but now that you mention it and with a way closer look it does appear to be OG. They don’t differentiate their O and 0’s much.

Problem solved I say.----Ignore the first digit when looking for parts.
