I have a 2000 model 25 HP tiller steer motor.
The lever used to stiffen up the steering is too loose to work. At all. (the copilot)
Swinging the lever either way does nothing.
How do I access it to service it?
I can't even see a nut to tighten. Maybe it needs a new friction plate?
Not sure.
