2022 DF9.9B making oil

I bought this pre-owned motor one week ago. After an oil change and 1.5hours running on the lake, I noticed about a half inch increase in oil. Otherwise it works great. Does anyone know what causing this? Thanks.

Never owned a small Suzuki so I’m going on what I’ve read concerning my engine (2009 DF90A)
EFI engines, if the float is allowing to much fuel into the VST the excess fuel will exit out the vent tube and into the crankcase. Worse at idle since your not burning much fuel, conversely better at WOT because your burning more fuel.
Mechanical fuel pump, a small hole in the diaphragm will leak fuel into the crankcase. If you have wires to the fuel pump then it’s electrical and no diaphragm. In any case should be covered under warranty.
