Ok guys, joined this forum to hopefully get some answers on this.

2019 115ProSX Serial #2B632914 1,000 hours

I’m a guide in Tampa, use this boat daily. Was making a 20 minute run back to the dock yesterday, boat ran great 0 issues with sputtering or missing etc… when I put it in idle at the dock the engine cut out, and hasn’t started since. It will turn over for a second then stop, no continuous cranking.

I was a technician for Mercedes for 19 years, in no way am I a marine mechanic but I’m a little knowledgeable on engines. So this is what I have so far.

Fuel is good and is being delivered to the motor, and pump is audibly running
Batteries are good
Killswitch is working and has continuity
No corrosion anywhere
I have spark
Good compression on all cylinders
Crank sensor is good
No codes (Per VesselView)

Here’s where it gets weird, for me atleast.

While checking for spark, I pulled #1 plug and turned the motor over and it started and ran, not rough considering it was down 1 cylinder. Same thing if I pull cyl #2 spark plug. Take it out (other plugs are in) and it runs.

Was thinking maybe coils, replaced them and no chance.

While it’s running, exhaust is freely coming out of the prop, so not exhaust blockage.

Something is creating back pressure enough to not let it start, I just can’t figure out what or how.

Any ideas? Thanks all
