Yesterday my warning tone went off (constant) going very slow. Engine is spewing water fine and the water is not very hot.
tone went off after about 40 seconds.
Sometimes when I start the engine i get a tone for 4-6 seconds. Is that normal. All of this seemed to start after I replace the thermostat with a generic part. May all be a coincident. Also checked oil and it's fine.
New boat and engine for me, and it seems very hard to to track down any information on the engine. Repair manual ???
