2012 Merc 90 4 Stroke squeal

Picked up a boat with a 90HP Merc 4 Stroke Tiller
at low rpm i have a off and on squeal, sounds like a belt squeal on a car
at times in neutral its fine
any help is apprecatied

I owned a 2006 Yamaha 90 4 stroke that had a similar squeal. Sounds like a fan belt at idle. I was told that it's a shaft bushing that needed replacing as per a TSB. Maybe the Merc 90 is similar. I never replaced the bushing, but I did send a stream of silicone lube down the shaft and it went away for a while.
