I went to change the oil and filter after duck hunting season and noticed a bunch of corrosion only on the water/fuel pump. The motor is a pull start. I haven't had any corrosion problems since I bought it. I plan on taking it apart, looking inside, and cleaning. Any suggestions on why it happened and why just now? The motor has been flushed with fresh water after every use and the rest of the motor is immaculate.
