" I got the powerhead on a stand and removed the cylinder heads. One cylinder will need to be resleeved but I also noticed that the cylinder walls, not the sleeves but the cast part of the powerhead, have deep pits from corrosion. Is it still rebuildable? "

"Tom.... I assume that you're speaking of the aluminum casting surrounding the steel cylinder walls. I've encountered that quite often.

I have my machine work performed at Precision Mfg & Sales in Clearwater, Fl (O/S Boring, Honing, Sleeve Replacement, etc). They do an outstanding job of heli arcing those corroded areas and resurfacing them back to factory specs.
