2008 BF90D is blowing the # 2 (10 amp) fuse

Our 2008 BF90D is blowing the # 2 (10 amp) fuse while operating the engine.

Any ideas on what the root cause might be?

Fuse number 2 is your pos feed to your trim switch. Check the wires running from the control box up the T handle to the trim switch. They can chafe through at the pivot point, probably blowing when you shift or throttle up.
