Twice, after going through no wake zones and trying to get back up on plane it has had what I call coughing fits. Stutters, power drops to almost nothing, recatches, stutters, dies once maybe twice and then finally will run up to 3 or 4000 rpm, stutters some again and then clears up and runs fine for the rest of the day.
I have tried to make it do this by running it hard, chopping the throttle and then running no wake for a while but I can't get it to duplicate. New fuel filters and drained the fuel tank and went back with fresh fuel but the second time it did this was after that work. New water pump and thermostat installed at the same time the fuel filters swapped.
