2007 BF225 First start in over 18 months

For a few reasons this engine has not been used for nearly 2 years.
After new fuel filters, water separator and oil change I turned the key!!

Gotta love a Honda!

 
Excellent. I have 2300+ hours on my 2007 and it still runs great.

Unfortunately, the lower end is in the shop to get a new drive shaft installed because the key that the water pump impeller attaches to striped out of its slot in the drive shaft.
 
Ahhhh, the lower on ours died a couple of weeks after we bought it - the gears seized and the engine twisted the drive shaft in two!! Needed a new complete lower unit 😠

We had it fully serviced when we first got it but consequently found a few things they didn't do properly - I do all the servicing now!
 
Roger that. I try to do as much as I can, but at my age, it's getting more difficult. I just punched past 80 in February.
