2007 25MSH 2 stroke lower unit seal replacement questions

It's time to replace the lower unit seals for the first time on this motor due to water intrusion. This will be my first time doing this on a Yamaha outboard. I have done Merc, Johnson, and Tohatsu motors over the years. All are a little different. I ordered kit #: 6L2-W0001-C3-00 First question. I'm wondering if I will have a problem with the internals when removing the lower casing to replace the 2 O-rings and seals. Second question. Can I pull the drive shaft out without any problems to get to the 2 seals. I would appreciate any insight from anyone who has done this to a similar year and hp motor. From what I see on the Yamaha parts diagram, there's no detent ball and spring to worry about like there is on a Johnson 15 hp. Thanks in advance for your help.
