Hi I bought a boat with a 2006 merc 60 efi. It never ran right since I got it, in gear at trolling speed it will change rpm by +/- 100 and occasionally stall, and it happens often when I slow down from higher speed it will start hesitating and either stall or sometimes catch itself and idle fine after maybe 10 seconds. Always starts up no problem.
So far I’ve changed the spark plugs (they looked original), checked and cleaned vst, checked low pressure pump, changed fuel line and bulb, cleaned and checked spray on injectors. Fuel pressure holds steady at 43psi even when the engine is doing its struggle.
what else am I missing? Really annoying when trolling, thinking it must be some sort of electrical sensor?
