2004 Yamaha F225 hose identity

I have a 2004 Yamaha F225. There is a port at the upper rear part of the engine between the heads that has a small Grey hose that runs down the back of the engine and out the bottom. It has a barb connection on the end. When the engine is running, warm water flows from it. It is not the tell tale. That is flowing normally. Anyone know where this hose is supposed to connect?

New installation on your boat ?----Could it be for a water pressure gauge ??

I'm thinking it may go to the static engine flush. Just not sure
