I have overhauled all six carbs, replaced both thermostats, replaced power pack and all 3 coils. I used a thermo gun to check temperatures, the stand side runs from 147 - 156. The port side 167 at the top, middle 180 - 210; bottom 200 to 235 with the engine running at 4000 RPM for 5 minutes. I lowered the RPM to an idle the temperature drops to 140 - 145. Stbd side maintained 150 - 157.
