I know what you're thinking, low battery. No it's not. I recently purchase two used Suzuki outboards, df 50 about a month ago. At the purchase the previous owner started them up with no problems at all. In fact, these motors look like the just came off the show room floor!! They are immaculate!! I had them in storage for a month until today I decides to fire them up as my boat will be coming out of the paint shop this weekend. One fired up and ran fine but the other didn't.
Upon turn the ignition, I hear a clicking sound coming from around the starter area but haven't any idea what it could be. I've owned Honda outboards for years and these are my first suzukis. Does anyone have any ideas what could be going on?? Any thoughts would be great!!! Thanks.
