On your model the oil alarm "only" tells you if there is oil in the tank, not whether or not the pump is actually functioning. Because of that I find the "alarm" of very limited value - if you top up the oil before every outing you never have to worry about running out of oil. So if you have continued "false alarms" I would simply disconnect the sensor rather than replace it. The tank on these will hold enough oil for about 7 hours of run time at full throttle - likely more "hours of oil" than "hours of gas" in the tank.
