Just bought a 2002 70hp yamaha 2stroke. 3 cyl 3carbs. it sat up for a while before i bought it and seems to have some carb issues bacause of this. It idles fine, and runs at WOT fine but if I try to ease on the gas to get on plane it wants to die out. I have checked to diaphragm in the fuel enrichment valve for cracks and used some fuel additives to try to remove any buildup. seems to be getting slightly better but i still think i have some trash in the carbs. Ive never torn down a carburator before but I would call myself fairly mechanically inclined and I am up for the challenge. If any of you have any pointers or how to pictorials, step by step I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!
