I replaced the ignition switch I had problems getting the wires attached so I sprayed teflon spray on connectors and tried the switch it worked. I decided to spray the stuck remote trim switch and key hole since it was hard turning, now the key switch is dead no power to the motor. Did I blow a fuse or relay? I have a new ignition and trim switch ordered and won't spray them lesson learned. Is there a main fuse or relay I should check if the new parts don't fix the problem?
thanks

You should have an in-line fuse under the cowling somewhere. I'd check that. There are lots of different teflon sprays on the market. Many will coat the contacts and possibly not allow current to flow if you put a coating on the internal parts of switches. There's lots of different things you could have used, but teflon spray would not have been my "go to" for that particular application! Like you said, "lesson learned"! But, I use WD40 on anything and everything, so I'm a good one to be critical of your actions!!
Gool luck with the new parts.
