i havelost compression in one of my cyclinders, have not opened engine up as of yet, have taken to a couple of yamaha dealers and they tell me that i will have to have a new power head with that said they have only checked the compression and i have one cyclinder with low compression. could this be possibly a blown head gasket? the motor will still run, have not ran since incedent happened. any suggestion on what the next step to take. i feel that the dealers are only wanting to get into my pocket book in telling me it will need a newcomplete powerhead. any suggestions?
