2000 Johnson 115 will not start

2000 115 hp Johnson changed shifter and throttle cables not will not start. Used it a week ago ran fine is there something that I did not adjust right

Likely =if you ONLY?? changed the 2 cables?? There shouldnt be anything that prevents starting/ cranking! Yet=? does it crank ? does it crank & doesnt fire up?? Did you disconect the battery cables? Look @ the side of engine -near shift/ throttle cables for a small switch-usually near the linkage arm that moves stator under flywheel. If cable NOT adjusted correctly? That maty be the problem-as that is a neutral start switch-if off no start/crank. be sure to have both cables adjusted with the controll lever off & in a low idle position & in neutral!!

Better take it to some body for a second opinion as it may be something simple as it worked before.
