"Spring startup today, change
"Spring startup today, change oil, filter, gearcase, lube, new gas, plugs. Started right up and was running in an oil drum @2000 rpm., water pissing out of the bottom, all normal.
Started to beep, red overheat light came on, steam from under the cover. I turned it right off. The block felt a little warm but not hot. Started it up again, water discharge wasn't even warm, and ran fine for 25 minutes @ idle, nothing out of the ordinary.
This engine has about 300 hours on it, could it be the thermostat was sticking from winter layover? Will change it anyway, but would like to know.
