2000 Evinrude 50 HP. Tilt relays

The switch on the throttle works in the down but not the up. If I use the trailer switch on the motor, it usually works both up and down. But sometime it doesn’t work and I can hear clicking. So I thinking maybe I should replace the relay but I’m not sure where they are located.

Is this the Suzuki built 4 stroke model ?

On that Suzuki there are 2 relays under a small cover.----Side of the motor block.

thank you very much for the reply. Would that be the starboard side or port side of the motor block? I’ll have to find the model number.

I am going to be blunt.-----I do not believe it will be difficult to find the relays under a cover.----Just take a look.----That is if you have the 4 stroke SUZUKI.
