Found this forum and since this is my first post, maybe somebody had a similar problem. This motor has run like a charm. However, it has developed a new erratic feature which I am trying to diagnose. Would appreciate any help.
I can get it started pretty good. After it warms up it would die even after it would idle for 5 to10 minutes. Sometimes, it would sputter with a few plumes of smoke coming out and get back to normal idle. Even at higher speeds, it would be not stall but occasionally it would have that studder then too.
I thinking ignition but it could also be fuel?
Always hard to diagnose intermittent situations. Mighty obliged with any help.
