Hello Group,

I have been slowly working to refurbishing my Ocean Pro. I noticed the engine was getting hot at high rpms and not starting (no starter engagement) and have since fixed the overheating issue. Screen in the pisser was clogged and restricting the water flow. But was concerned the electronics in the ignition system may have been grounding out with higher heat. So I decided to replace the 20 yr old ignition system. (stator assy, coil, power pack, sensor) and last time I went out we were cruising along a 4500 rpm and the motor died on us (note: I've already gone through the fuel system as well, there are no impediments and I tried to manually choke while cranking). I could get the motor to crank, but there was no spark. Thoughts on what to try next?

Unplug pack connector with blk/yel and blk/org and apply jumper of starter solenoid to yell/red pack connector
