1999 25hp johnson conversion to 30hp

Is this just a jet change in the carb,or will I need a 30hp carb of the same year?
Obviously,it is pointless looking for more revs,because it will go over the WOT limit,so would this conversion give me more torque?

Would it give more pulling power rather than increasing the revs?With the chance of maybe using a bigger pitch prop.
I believe there are 3 props that will fit this outboard.

The bigger the load,the smaller the prop pitch. A jet change will not turn a 25 into a 30.

Thanks,that's what I wanted to know.Any idea if the year of the carb needs to be the same as the original?
