1998 DF 70 hp question for everyone

has anyone heard that on my 1998 DF70 that after 800 hours on motor the motor will shut off and you have to buy a new computer board at around 1800.00 ? thanks

I have a 2003 df70 with less than 800 hours on the clock. I would hope that no manufacturer could possibly program an outboard to shut down at certain hour totals. I often use this engine in the upper Niagara River above Niagara Falls. Can you imagine if I reached 800 hours and I was a half mile from the falls. This must be an urban legend story.
