1997 4.3 mercruiser exhaust tube

I am replacing my exhaust tube that go from the one piece manifold exhaust to the y pipe. Will I need to take the exhaust manifolds off or is it possible to replace with out. Also is it just the clamps that holds the boots or is there a sealer that I will need. So you know what part I'm referrering to the part number is 30-807458t oem, Im planning on using mallory exhaust tube 9-72804. Please let me know what you guys think.thanks
 
Jeez you got the batwing mani one piece. You want to go with a center riser setup ?

I think 500 dollar kit with both man's and risers and all the gaskets in one box.

I think thats the price.

To your question. If you cut off the old tube. there should be enough room to slip in the new one.

Me i would pull the mani's anyway to check the riser and the mani. And to check the flappers.

Before you buy anything pm me. I have a list.
