1996 9.9 4 stroke no spark

Have a 1996 9.9 4 stroke evinrude serial number E10fredr that intermittently loses spark on both cylinders. Having a hard time finding this particular motor for diagnostic testing on stator and trigger. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Checked them, good and tight. I figured I'd ohm the brown and brown yellow wire since I had it disconnected and I was not the typical 500 to 650 it was way high

What value do you get on the orange wires ?----Those are the power coil to run the optical ignition.

80.8 ohms across the 2 orange wires

1.022 k ohm across the browns

Thank you for verifying that sir, much appreciated. Of course now when I'm testing it it has spark so I'll have to verify again when it loses spark
