1996 25hp fuel leak at fuel pump

After cleaning and adding a gasket kit to the carb I noticed a fuel leak at the fuel pump cover. Gas appears to be coming through around the screw holding the cover. I've took apart and reassembled but issue remains. Could this be the result of a bad diaphram - even though it is new? 2nd screw down from top right. Leak occurs when pressurized by squeezing bulb or when engine runs. Not a major leak but noticeable. I've ordered a new OEM diaphram just in case this is the issue, as I don't see what else it could be. Thoughts appreciated - Thanks

Cover is not cracked best I can tell

Do you have the correct gaskets in?

Is there more than the diaphram gasket adjacent to the cover? Schematic didn’t appear to show one.

either the plastic spacer is cracked. Gasket is damaged. wrong gaskets in it.

I’ll double check, but gaskets matched the diagram with holes in all appropriate places. The plastic spacer is good - no cracks seem. I have ordered a new diaphram and new gasket between carb body and fuel pump. Thanks for your thoughts. Fingers crossed this time around.

Just wish there was an easy way to get the bottom right screw off the pump cover with out having to remove carb.
