1995 volvo penta (GM) 350 dies after it warms up to temperature

Hi,

I just put new exhaust maniifolds on because there was raw water in the cylinders. New fuel pump, new carberator.

After assembly, it started up and purred like a kitten for about 10 minutes and then promptly died and wouldnt re-start. I thought that there might be raw water still getting into the cylinders so I pulled out all eight plugs and they were all dry.

I put them all back in and it started fine and idled for a minute or two then died.

I am perplexed.

Does your carb have an electric choke? If so, you will have to adjust its settings, and also the idle speed and idle mixture.

Sounds like your not getting fuel....

Float level in carb?

Gas in tank?

Was there a reason for putting in a new carb / fuel pump?
