1993 Evinrude 90 HP

I have recently purchased a pontoon with this 90 HP motor. It currently has an electric fuel pump but I am going back with oem pump. The the original pump was still on the motor. It has a hose that goes from the pump down to a pulse port on the crankcase, but also has a pulser port above this one appearing to be where the fuel pump could be mounted. My question is can either one of these ports be used for the pulser for the pump. Some pumps I have looked at have a fitting for the pulser and some have a port on the back of the pump. There is a spot on the intake manifold for a simple ( non mixing ) fuel pump.------Run with 50:1 mix in fuel tank.---Part # is 438556-----Then plug port for EXPENSIVE auto mixing pump.----But do a compression test on this motor before spending any $$$ on it.----Post the numbers here.
