1993 9.9hp engine floods

'93 evinrude tracker 9.9 2 stroke
only starts cold with push to prime ignition
once warm will not start unless I follow procedure for flooded engine (remove the fuel line and run starter about 15-20 attempts) it does start after that
smell alot of gas
what do u think?

I think it is time to rebuild the carburetor, making sure a new float needle and seat are installed. I would also make sure I replaced the float too if it looked suspect. With the engine off, try looking down the throat of the carb, while holding the throttle open. Then pump the primer bulb. If you see fuel overflowing into the bottom of the carb throat, you have a float/ float seat/pin issue.
