Hey all, just a quick update;
I was able to move the oil alarm switch into an oil galley and sure enough it worked perfectly and no more alarm. Had it on muffs in the driveway and tuned the fuel/air mixture screws as well as the idle speed screw and think I have it nailed down pretty much perfect. Took it out on a big lake this past Sunday and did a fall color tour, it was awesome! Ran very well. Only issue is a small exhaust leak on port side exhaust manifold, may just need to be re-torqued. Engine temp gauge read 175° all day long, temp gun all over block/heads/thermostat housing was 160°-175°. Oil pressure was 40-55psi. No more alarm either. Was very happy with this fall project. Planning on winterizing it within the next couple weeks and storing it away for the season.
Thank you all again for all the info, replies, and suggestions!
