1991 Mercury 150 Black Max and steady beeping.

I am new to the forum and needing some advice.

I have a 1991 Mercury Black Max 2 cycle and after starting the alarm just keeps beeping. I do get the 2 beep after turning on the ignition.

Checked the water and after warm up getting good stream out of output.

Motor cranks and runs great. It happened while fishing and had to run the boat back to the dock. It can run full speed and not stutter in the performance.

Smooth running. Have 3 bank charger and all the batteries are full charge.

checked the top oil tank and it is full as well as the 3 gal on board tank.

On thing I have noticed is the AMP gauge sets right at 12 volts and does not move upward while running.

any suggestions are welcome.

Put oil in your gas as oil pump may be failing.....

my 1994 75 had a low oil warning module that went bad. Mine only has one that monitors the oil level in the tank and not the pump from failing. Mine would steady beep just turning the key on. I removed the low oil module( i do plan to replace it at some point i just keep it full for now).
