I have a 1991 60hp Johnson. My compression readings are cylinder 1 (89), cylinder 2 (90) and cylinder 3 (88). My motor begins to shake violently around 20 mph and I cannot gain anymore speed. It doesn't sound like the RPMs are increasing after I hit 20 mph or so. I have disconnected the temperature switch and everything with no change. I have installed a new power pack also with no change. I was provided a lot of helpful things to check and have done so. It appears that the top piston is further back than the other two, does that matter or just where it stopped moving? Now, I am including head images...

I turned the flywheel and they appear to move fine. Are you saying to take pictures of the cylinder walls when the pistons have moved further back inside the cylinder?

Turn the flywheel and see how they move !-------Post pictures of all three cylinder walls too.
