1990 Johnson 150 spills oilfuel when tilted

"When tilting the motor fully up it dumps a few ounces of oil/fuel mix into the motor well. Is this normal? My mechanic who rebuilt the motor last year feels it is not unusual.

Aside form making a mess, it becomes a dangerous place to step as it is very slipery when fishing.

"u need to try and determine,where,the oil is coming from...breather assm,might need a gasket,..still on vro?..may have an oil lk there..,it is not,uncommon,to have an oil residue,in the front lower pan,..but it sounds like u may have a bigger problem."
