I've just finishing rebuilding & refurbishing 1989 Johnson 70hp. Done it practically just for fun, but if everything goes well, it will push my boat up to +45 knots next summer
Like said, almost finished, but now I'm confused about one mystery bolt. (quite well done, just one, huh?)
1/4" stainless bolt, slotted hex head. Only 3/8" long thread. Small seal.
Does this ring bell for anybody? Where is it from?
Somewhere around powerhead it must have removed, because it was in the box which contained other powerhead bolts.
There is no other similar bolts, so I'm hoping somebody more familiar with these motors can identify it.
