The trim unit on my '89 Evinrude 70hp motor is stuck in the up position. The electric controls are not working. Was getting clicking of the relays but nothing now. I've tried releasing the manual screw but the piston seems be be stuck in the extended position. I'm hoping to at least get the motor down for the next couple months and then work on a full repair when I take it out of the water in October. Any suggestions for short term and long term solutions would be appreciated.
