From my understanding, this Mariner is simply a Yamaha rebrand. My dad gave me this motor and it was missing the flush. I tried some muffs but they just don't make a greta seal. So i thought I can just flush it instead of run it. However, I've never owned an outboard and I always finds little information about this motor.
Over the decades, I'm assuming they kept this piece the same. Would this work?
And it terms of effectiveness, is the flush mount (not running) or muffs (running) generally better? Thank you!
