"I have replaced the VRO fuel pump with a new regular fuel pump. First I plugged up the pulsating line. Then installed regular fuel pump on the fuel pump mount that is there which has a pulsating fitting. Connected fuel lines to original connection. It seems to be pretty simple. I do have a couple questions. There is a small vacuum line coming from the casing under the carburetors. It was, for some reason, hooked up to the oil inlet of the VRO. What is this line and were does it go? Second problem is after replacing the fuel pump the engine does not want to idle. Also, when I try to rev-up the engine it does not want to work, even thou the magneto is moving.
Before replacing the pump the engine seem to pulsate at low speed and at full throttle it would run good for a while the act like it was starving for fuel.
Any info would be great.
